Gotomote is a handheld GoTo controller specifically designed for OnStep telescope mounts. Its user-friendly interface is underpinned by a powerful asynchronous socket connection, ensuring minimal latency and a reliable user experience. To initiate the telescope's operation, users simply need to select a location, set the date and time, perform a star alignment, and park the telescope.

The application features comprehensive databases, including Quasar, Messier objects, and an extensive catalog of galaxies alongside a Bright Star catalog.
Users can easily initialize date, time, and location, with options for aligning using one, two, or three stars to cater to various levels of precision.
For expediency, the one-star alignment enables quick setup, while two- or three-star alignments help correct for polar axis misalignment and cone error.
The parking functionality allows users to designate their preferred park positions, rapidly access previously added sites, and execute parking and unparking commands with ease.
Guided options for pulse guiding include features for centering objects and adjusting reticule brightness settings.
Advanced commands are available for PEC programming, adjusting GoTo speed, and setting backlash compensation for both RA and Dec axes.
Furthermore, Gotomote allows adjustments to the tracking rate, offers compensated tracking options, and provides control over tracking functionalities.
